11-minute flower

These are really just 10-minute blocks (see http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-81908-1.htm) but starting with what I'll call a 1/4 snowball.
For one flower, you need
2 -- 5" squares of fabric 1
2 -- 5" squares of fabric 2
1 -- 4" square for center
4 -- 2.5" squares of background
Sew each background square onto one corner of your four 5" squares. Trim seam to 1/4" and press toward the background color (picture 2). This makes a 1/4 snowball block
Arrange the 4 "petals" as shown in picture 3 below.
Proceed with the instructions from the tutorial above. There are just 2 differences:
1) my middle square is smaller than my 4 petals
2) you have to be careful about the orientation of the 4 petals, to keep them in the pinwheel.
The blocks should square up to 9.5 inches (9 inches finished)
