OK--I'm the dummy here, looked at the other tut and saw how the center was done. PLEASE no lashes with the wet noodle. DS is undergoing emer surgery as I type and DH is headed back to hosp. I grew ulcers, per dr 2/day, so my thinking cap is not fitting well.

I don't understand how the center block goes in. Do you sew the four other blocks together and then add the center block?

Thanks so much for this one, I thought I might figure it out from your picture and having seen the original, but thanks for saving my brain power..... Lord knows I have little enough as it is.

I was thinking that the centers might be interesting if done like a 3-D bow-tie block so that the flower centers are 3-D. I might play with this idea.

That's exactly what this block is based on - the 3 d bow tie. Someone used bigger squares and renamed it a 10 minute block. I love the 11 minute flower - so creative!!

Awesome tutorial - thanks! May I demo it at a quilt guild meeting? I think the ladies in my group would really like it I did the 10 minute block a long time ago and have been asked recently to do it again since we have so many new members. This would add a new twist to it
