Now that it has been nearly a yr. since you posted this, I have a ??? I didn't see on here (I might have missed thou).
Has the lighting had any effect on fading the exposed material? I've had folded fabric in stacks on some shelves, that over time ended up being faded across the fold part. How do you prevent this with all the nice lighting your DH installed for you?
Thanks for sharing your great ideas - have a blessed day

Lighting is not finished. It is just too cold in the winter to go in our attic and when it is warmer I always want to hang out with him. I am a nut I guess. I recently did make a very pretty curtain for my fabric wall. That was funny  I went to JoAnn's with coupons in hand and got 50%off a hot pink batik with sunflowers on it in yellow. Then I wanted to keep the fabric and fold it on my boards but I did what I was supposed to do and made the curtains and they are so pretty. I love how bright they are. I do need to make a few more little curtains for other places too.. I am in the process of wrapping more of my fabric that still needed to be done right. Just yesterday my husband cut me 5 more huge boards for lots more fabric. I haven't bought more just still have fabric to get done that were on other shelving you can not see in those pictures.
Thanks so much for stopping by

jaciqltznok...I Love your cutting table in your picture! Looks like 2 bookshelves & a top. What did you make the top from? I need something like this, as the door to my room is just standard size, so I can't buy some huge table & expect it to fit through the door. Also, looks like you added shelves to the center. :) I was thinking of a low cart on wheels, so I could pull the whole thing out periodically; for use to store my bolts of solids.
Thanks for your photo inspiration!

There are a lot of things we throw away all the time that would work. And there are many of the unusual plastic clips @ the office supply stores, or in the hair accessories area.
I also thought a recent post on how to label the fabrics offered many ideas. One I liked: iron on a piece of freezer paper & write on the paper; you can re-stick it again & again & note yardage remaining. No pins, no tape residue. Thanks to whomever posted this.
All kinds of free plastic clips that may be on clothing we buy.
