    Thank you so very much for making such a terrific tutorial. I've been doing needle turn and this looks much easier and should produce a clean applique. You are a special person to share your talent.

    So does this mean that your freezer paper acts as a stabilizer too? Looks like a good one-step sewing method. Thanks for sharing!

    Yes, quiltingbuddy, just pin the applique to your background with a couple of pins to maintain the position. I have never had any puckering at all this way!
