so, what should a person measure for this database? I've got a few machines I could check out for you.

Not counting the industrials, it would be fun to see which of mine has the largest harp.

If you counted the industrials, I'd say it's probably your boot patcher?

Just after I posted about the 15-91, I did a search and read a "TreadleOn" post on this subject. It said that the internal motor machines such as 201-2 and 15-91 could not be converted to treadle.

My 66 has the largest harp in my herd. I have a treadle, one I'm going to hand crank, and Monday a coworker is bringing a machine for me to look at. Its electric and may be another 66. The picture was very bad, but if it's a electrified 66 then I will get it cause I don't have one of those.

It's possible but not practical. There are other 15s and 201s that are natural born treadles. The THROAT space on a 201 is larger than a 66.

The Fushion has the patcher beat by a pretty good margin. Not really an industrial, and for sure not vintage.

I'm doing some work out in the shed, will have to measure and see.

I was checking out some of mine, and several are very close, in the 6.5" high x 8-8.5" wide. The patchers in not very high, but is 12" long.

I think my Singer 61 is about the same as the WW #10 - maybe it's the same machine with a Singer decal put on. That is the one that has the WW emblem on the bed. It measures 10" long by 6" high.

And so she does not feel left out - the Fushion is 24" long by 10" high. Though because of how the frame is, the usable distance is closer to 20".

This was my gran's machine, it's a 96-21; it's an industrial machine mounted on a table with a motor but could possibly be treadle-ized(?) It's longer than a 66 or 15, but not as big as that monster Steve posted.

(This is in my aunt's possession now, eventually it will probably come to me. My gran used this machine as a professional seamstress [draperies & slipcovers, mostly] and then purchased it from her employer when she retired and used it for all her quilts and handmade clothing.)

But, SEWNOMA this machine is mounted down in the cabinet which makes it even better to sew quilts as they can lay out on the table bed on the left side. That is the trouble with the 2 Kenmores that we have as they sit up above the table bed.
Maybe you saw the pics I posted last week when I was trying to get machine off cabinet and didn't know how. Simple --2 screws were going up from the bottom into machine. Still can not get it to zigzag. Oh well I do have other machines and have an extension table.
