Yes, I've considered a few of those.

At the SD Quilt show there was a vendor selling hand crank machines. They fascinate me! Every time I walked by I got closer - there were some absolutely beautiful machines! My friends asked me why I wanted a hand crank - I have several functional machines. And all I could say was, "Because!" They could not see the same attraction - I don't know why, they were beautiful! Guess I am thankful because I really wanted the Brother embroidery machine that stitches the Disney designs, and passed it up too. If either one of my friends had given me an iota of incentive I would have bought another machine. (That I don't need, but is need ever the true issue here?)

If you get the chance to get a hand crank machine get one. I don't think you'll regret it. The old ones that were designed as handcranks are beautiful even if you don't use it.

Edit: Mike you shouldn't have any trouble finding a "V" machine. "Y" and "Z" might be challenging though.

[QUOTE=DonnaFreak;6877751]Howdy y'all

I only have two vintage machines. One is a FW 221, and the other is a 15 clone. Yet I find myself following this particular forum of the board with secretive plotting. Is this a sign of potential future "non-necessary" purchases? I think I may have issues.....

**Ah, but they are "necessary"...!!

I can't think of a Y right now but he could look for a Zenith. Pic from Yahoo image search. Didn't want my fingers to write a check my___ couldn't cash.

I probably misunderstood: Just thought 26 machines and I had 22. As of tonight, 23 (1950s green Husqvarna 21)

Congrats on your Husky! Especially for that price. Anything Husky goes high here.
