You were lucky. Couple yrs ago when I saw a FW with table for sale we answered the ad -got no reply tried again after making arrangements for friend to pick it up over three hours from us. Still no answer and the price kept going down ---kept writing them. I told them I was willing to pay original price but never heard from them at all. Weeks later ad was gone and never heard any more. So disappointing .The ad did have some other items in it to
so I didn't think it was a scam just old people who didn't know how to reply.

I am already fixing it up. There is no way I could leave it with loose veneer and feet falling off!

I've had that happen to me before too. Some people aren't as computer savvy and don't get back to you.

I've had that sort of thing happen too. I've also posted things for sale, had someone contact me, I promptly reply, then they seem to fall off the face of the Earth. Even a polite follow-up get only a vast amount of nothin'. I'm pretty sure they just loose interest and feel awkward about telling you they don't want your stuff anymore. Personally, I wouldn't have any hard feelings, it'd just be nice to know they've moved on with things so I can focus on other buyers.
