I asked him if he was high or left out a decimal point...but neither is the case because his appraiser told him that was the average sale price for these. whatever.

I wonder if he told his appraiser it was from the 1800s too. It's 1912 or newer.

Yes I have noticed and I think it is people like us who collect them are doing it. I know sellers read this board to see what is in demand for these old ladies.

I wish they would read this board in Indianapolis - I have stuff just setting there and reasonable prices, too...

Skip and Miriam...I think it's also the "Preppers" that are getting ready for hard times.... Miriam, you might want to try advertising any "people powered" machines that way...directed at the Preppers....
