Wish someone would put the tutes in a separate category so we can find out how to clean or fix something faster. I wish I would have bookmarked them when I started.

I picked up an Empira treadle today from CL. I will post pics later. I can't find any information on it! The decals are lions and there are also decals on the cabinet and even on the irons. It has a shuttle and some attachments. Any info out there? Thanks!

Ladies I have been reading your posts and learning lots of things about all the different machines.
I am up to 8 machines now! My newest beauty was $20.00 and her name is Stella. She is named after the lady I bought her from. She is a 1936 15-30?and lives in a Straight leg wooden treadle ..that I actually attempted to treadle...woohoo |

No plate to cover the bobbin area. No bobbin. No manual. It does have the cord & pedal. There is some kind of double plug-in on the pedal cord. Anyone know why that might be? (Sorry, no pictures.)
I love this machine for piecing. I've also used it for repairing a canvas boat cover, a tent and hemming blue jeans, it worked great. I'll be interested to see what responses you find. I've also joined a Necchi group on Yahoo, but didn't find much help with the "newer" Japan made Necchi. |
Marie, thanks for sharing your experience. I think I will go see if I can get the serial number and any other info they can give me tomorrow.
