I hate it when ads put something like "old sewing machine" with no pic, name, description, etc. They are in the same frustrating league as those who show a closed cabinet and never open it up with the machine showing--another common theme around here.

I hate it when they only post the picture of the back of the sewing machine or cover the feed dog area with a scrap of cloth. Or, post fuzzy pics, or post dark almost impossible to see what it is pics.

Nope. I was just able to make out part of the serial number, D10883xx. That places the date of the sewing machine in 1908 and it would be a 27-4. And electrified??? I would deduct $1475 from that one.

i was thinking the same thing...i have yet to see any machines surviving from 1864 in any useable condition today. I can dream though.

I hate it when they post a nice pic of a machine and then put text me with offer... I don't text...

I have noticed that the prices for treadles are going way up. I would love to know if they are really selling them. Some are in such bad shape. I was lucky to get a nice treadle in good shape for 90.00 and even that was high. But soon after I bought it the prices have been going up. How many are really being sold.
