Charlee, you never answered my question about what you'd be willing to spend on a W&W #8 in the cabinet? I offered $100 and you said you'd get that one! Would you give them the $250?

Help anyone? My 15-91 had an accident when I went to move the folding table she was sitting on. She took a dive to the floor. Luckily, the only damage was to the 3 prong receptacle Bakelite piece which became several pieces. I have receivde several suggestions about using JB Weld to try to put it back together. I'm not sure that's going to work cause I think I'm missing some pieces.
In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone had the receptacle in their spare parts? If so, I would be interested in buying it. A new one is quite costly and my 15-91 was a freebie from a very sweet lady in my area. She (the SM) sews so great and this is the one I'm teaching my DGD to sew on.
Would appreciate any help!!

Well, that Davis might be mine!!! I am soooo excited. My DSIL will be going through S. Dakota tomorrow and has said he will stop and get it for me. Ya gotta love a man that'll do that for his MIL. OK, so now my collection is complete. Yea, right!!

Is it possible to get/make a oil wick for this machine? It is a Japanese knock off of a Singer 15-91, I think.

Go to sew-classic.com
They have parts and cords, etc. I ordered a new needle plate for my Zenith De Luxe/15-19 Singer. The $ are very reasonable.

It looks like a nice lady, is it a 201? Congrats.

I'm sorry Nancy, I *thought* I answered, but it's quite possible that I only answered in my mind!!
I'd probably not part with the full $250, but would go as high as $150/175...
