Country Store with donated items for sale, plus Opportunity Quilt raffle drawing on Sunday at 4:00. Did I miss anything? Oh, and I am honored to be Chair of this show....quite a humbling experience, I assure you!!! :-)

Hope some of you can come!!! Look for the most harried woman in the place, and that will be me!!! LOL

I wish I lived closer...waahh. I would love to see you and all the lovely quilts. I'll be praying for you, hope all goes smoothly.

Hi Janice, I wish I was closer to you. I would love to see all the quilts, and the antique/vintage sewing machine exhibit, it all sounds like a fun. Good Luck, and have fun!

I am with you Charlee on a Pfaff. I bought a Pfaff serger and couldn't get it to do squat! Also couldn't get any training from the local dealer. Traded that in on my Brother 1500 and have never regretted it for a second!

It was on a 10 ft Grace frame with Cruise Control....and I fought that machine everytime I used it....could not get it to hold the tension, constantly broke thread, and the harp space, while being 9 inches, wasn't big enough to do more than a large lap quilt without having to dismount, turn, and remount the quilt. Was more work than it was worth to do the same thing I can do with my 15-91.
I have a handquilting frame that I can use to pin quilts or hand quilt with, so that's all good...

I sold the Pfaff and bought the spousal unit a beater of a pickup truck that he loves! Smartest thing I've done in awhile, he doesn't say word one about my machines now!!

Here are pictures of my Standard machine (which looks like yours) and the hand wheel. Sorry that I made the mistake on the stop motion screw. The Standard still has a stop motion screw on its hand wheel, just that it is much smaller than the Singers and that it is not in the center. Hopefully that helps you now.

Cute 24-50 machine! Nice that it came with attachments and manual. You will have to bring this machine to the next CA TOGA.

I do have that screw but turning it does not seem to release motion. hmmmm any ideas?
