No reverse. I would pay $45-75. Are you planning to sew on it or just for collecting? Is there a key with the case? definitely check it out before just bidding.

If the case is in excellent shape, I would pay $50.

Billy, I was glad to find that you started this post (and have book marked it) - thank you :) This would be a good place to ask others about my 221 featherweight (that i just posted about.)

Does anyone know if the 221-1 can sew through denim and multiple layers? I just got her and want to be gentle with her. I'm cutting fabric for a denim rag quilt and don't know if she up to this. Has anyone had experience with this. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

Are those your horses in your Avatar?

Yes, the machine is way over-priced for me, but it all depends on who is buying and how bad you want it? Make an offer, if this person really wants to sell he will call you when he realizes no one is going to pay his price.

Earlier this week, DH and I found a Singer 101 in a bentwood case for $19.99, with key. Brought it home, took the 101 out and my Red Eye handcrank (avatar) just fits perfectly. The case is now slathered with Howard's. The 101 is frozen up, so have to try and free it up. If anyone wants it, you can have it for the shipping (a real 40 pounder). It has to be rewired and no power cord; takes the FW type of cord/food.

I am but I find it very hard to navigate, I just joined last week. Maybe someone else, here, has some pointers. It took me awhile to figure out the Yahoo email groups, also.
