For quite a while I’ve been intrigued with the number of blocks that are made from the humble 4-patch and half-square triangle (HST). If you can conquer these two building blocks, you have lots of layout options open to you. And, depending on whether you do a planned placement of fabric for value and color, or go scrappy, all these quilts can look quite different from each other.
