Thank you. :-)

It's the first time I've done one... I'm no longer a tute virgin! LOL

Thanks so much Blue. The applique was scaring me. You have made me feel like I can do it. Your block is beautiful.

Thanks for putting up the Tute Blue....I'm not the world's greatest at applique and love to find new techniques.

I love needleturn.... where the key is tiny little stitches done very neat that don't show up.

The question for me really is how to get the piece ready to be sewn to the background, and there are so many methods available. I use a combination of different techniques... freezer paper on top, freezer paper on the bottom, no freezer paper, lines drawn on the background, etc, etc, etc.

I can't wait to see the different methods everyone uses for each block.

:-)

Blue...I love to do the applique...the problem is that my carpal tunnel is getting worse and I can't hold the needle for very long...sometimes at all....so this should be interesting to say the least!

I seem to have had more success with the freezer papar on the bottom method so far, but I love to keep trying new ones! Sometimes I think it depends on the shape which works the best. I'm like you, I can't wait to see how everyone chooses to do the blocks.

Great Tute Blue! Gotta try that one instead of ignoring the applique blocks cause I'm not very good at it. Thanks!!
