I love all the Kitty blocks so far, it's so much fun to see how others create their blocks. I especially like the Red Hot Kitties. Whoops, that's my block......no vain here....Just kidding.....Love them all.

This kitty almost got me committed! I swear...I had so many problems, I almost scrapped it and called it a wash! I persevered, and what I got was one really wonky kitty. She's supposed to have white on her neck and be grey and white stripes as a tribute to my sweet girl that got hit by a car last summer. The hearts around the border were a headache all their own. Piecing those tiny corners about made me say dirty words. If I never paper piece again, I won't miss it a bit! Without further ado...

I just love looking at all of the different ideas. I have mine planned, I think. I'm not sure of the fabric selection yet.

Dixie.........what a wonderful interpretation of your Heart Cat block!! I love what you have done with it & it is yet different from any of the other's, so far. The little hearts around your darling block are so cute. This block really shows how much you loved your little kitty girl. Thank you for sharing your block with all of us & your love of your kitty.

Thanks, friends!
I got the idea for the hearts from Jan in VA's tutorial here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...y-t176619.html
I drew them out on graph paper to the size I needed to complete my block to the proper size.
