    This is a great block. I love the patriotic feel to the colors you've chosen. Congratulations.

    I made mine. I also made another block for fun. When the BOM ends, I want to have 16 blocks so my wall hanging will be square so I will add a few blocks. I also plan to add embellishments to the flag block. All of my blocks are batiks and I couldn't find a batik fabric with stars so I will add stars once it is quilted.

    What a wondeful idea for a block... a kite. Sounds like you have a great plan for your quilt top

    This is my purple and green themed block. Since our firework displays are always coordinated with music, I call this block "Fireworks, with music in the air."
