I LOVE your block & the fabric you used is just awesome. So pretty. May I ask where you got your pattern? I am so addicted to pp'ing too, that I just can't stop making my blocks that way. Right now I am making the block that you have used in your Avatar. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us today.

Here is my March block. I'm not satisfied with the background, so may make another. I ran out of fabric for the background (lacked 2 inches for the final block), so I decided to have my shamrock growing in a field of flowers. Couldn't quite pull that one off, so will probably redo. It was an easy, fun block to make, though!

The tonal green fabric just makes a perfect Shamrock. I don't think you need to make a different one, as the two different fabrics play very nice together. Also all three of your blocks look great together. You are going to have one gorgeous quilt by the end of the year.Thank you so much for participating & sharing with all of us!!

I made my Shamrock block this evening, I like how it turned out. In case any of you are on the Mystery Train now, you'll see it posted there!! I just pulled it up and posted away!! Geesch.
Now I can concentrate on what April's block will be. Hmmmm, think SPRING?? ;o)

All of the fabric's you chose to put together look just darling!! I saw this block on the Mystery Train thread before I found it here. I am sure that those ladies enjoyed getting to see it too! We can hardly wait to see what you come up with for your pick of the April block for next month. It's going to be so exciting waiting to see. Thank you for sharing your March block.

Sulabug, I think the pattern Nicky used is from the book 365 Foundation Quilt Blocks from Linda Causee. I have the book, itīs great, never made a block but I love looking at it and need to find the courage to start one of them!

Anael and Nicky - is the book different enough from Carol Doake's Foundation Factory to be worth buying as well? It retails at A$45.00 here (have seen it on special for A$38) so would be interested to hear your opinion before considering it.

My March block of the month
I am enjoying the blocks of the month. I even had my handy guy (oh, he's so handy) make me a rack to hang the blocks every month.

OH MY GOSH.....I thought I was posting small pictures. On the camera with my Xoom it has picture sizes by pixels and I had no idea how many pixels would be equal to 640 x 480...the recommended size. The default is 5 pixels and I choose 3....too BIG.

Forgot to mention that when I was cutting my squares I goofed...cut them 2.5 instead of 3.5. I decided to go with it at that size and it worked out better for me. My little rack is made for a 12" block and I wouldn't have been able to put a border on the original size...it would have been too large. Sometimes our "goofs" aren't sew bad, huh!
