Now that I see how this ended up I can finally choose some fabric. I love how everyone's looks!<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/76594b5f/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

oh I can do this the way I originally had thought! I am going to use my monkeys for center of blocks and the white part. its a design but think it will work beautifully with the solids. oh goody! love the table runner you made Jaba and the beach print! how cute is that!!! seeing the uniformity of some of the blocks gave me a lot more confidence in whipping them out I will have at least two blocks done by Tues to show. I have to work on the round robin I am doing also so its divide each project up into one day projects. wish me luck! I am still massively wiped out. praying that tomorrow is better. this is my first day off in week and I am done in. anyone with extra energy please express mail it to me immediately! I will even work my way out to the mail box to wait for it. waiting, waiting...

I love, love, love this pattern. Another winner, Judy! And I also love the different arrangements I'm seeing. I think I'm going to scale down and do a controlled table runner. I got behind as this is prime planting weather, so will work on a 5 block table runner this week. Just need to decide on the colour combination.

Got 9 blocks made for a wall hanging. I'm auditioning the fabrics strips on the left for borders. Can't wait to get the top put together and start quilting. I plan to quilt it with southwestern motifs. This was a fun ride! Thanks Judy, you are awesome!!

wow, Judy - this is an awesome quilt. I didn't make mine yet, too much going on with being out of town and then coming back and hubby having surgery. But I will be making one very soon - well, have 4 Lego quilts to make for four grandsons and a round robin to work on and GS's girlfriend wants me to make her a t-shirt quilt so my plate is full. oh well, someday!

    Default All About the Scraps

I went to see some quilts from the Gee's Bend community. These were made by poor women to keep warm and feature discarded clothing. What is most impressive is the human spirit to create beauty.
