Pbadder, Route 66 fabric. Very cool idea and good for a table so you can look close at the map.

My blocks are done and thank goodness you suggested using the 5" strip as those teensy threads on the right were all that got shaved off.

Glad you made the train, Sulabug.

Well, I hope I didn't make a problem for myself with these stripes, but I did want to use the Halloween fabric. The scary cats will have to wait, maybe for a border.

Judy, which would be better for the focus fabric, black or stripe? Usually I don't buy stripes. They're so.........stripy.

Probably shouldn't post the purse pics here, but will post on a new thread in a few days & let you know, ok? Hope to have the one I'm working on now finished by tomorrow. Thank you for asking.
I agree...glad to see you back Sulabug!
I love the stripes! The one on the right radiates...my fav!

Emma...can't wait to see your quilt finished...that blue is wonderful! So, I know the quilt is going to be, & so much movement in it!

I do the 5" too...I always take the time to square up everything, no matter the quilt; so I have always cut larger. Besides that, if you have leftovers of the strip, I cut into squares for the scrapboxes when the project is done. So, I always cut an even amount, to get a full size scrap square. Saves time, too!
