I never noticed the "wrong" ribbon -- I was so enchanted with the stripes, they were all I saw!

And love the backing.

Whitepine I love your runner both sides are great. I didn't notice a turned block till you mentioned it. At least it wasn't finished huh? I love purple but the orange side is great too.

Bluebonnets, I love the this one. Reminds me of the blue willow dish pattern or a dutch pattern.

Whitepine--I don't know which side of yours I like best! That back is wonderful.
Bluebonnets--yours looks like my grandmother's blue willow dishes and my mom's delft tiles. Beautiful!

I got the border on, the backing pieced, and the binding made for mine--now to layer it up and quilt!

Bluebonnets, That is so beautiful. I love that blue. And the quilting looks great too. Can't wait to see the big quilt.

Aww, thanks y'all. I was trying for that Delft blue and white. DH bought some pieces of the China while at the airport in Amsterdam and I just loved them. And I can usually find a few things at thrift stores too. My table runner looks great with it.

Thinking about quilting my bigger one on the machine as well. Sure is a lot quicker and I need the practice.
