Nice blocks Gus and thanks for the explanation of G4.
I made E 13 today but didn't do those tiny applique triangles. I tried one, it came out totally wrong and I decided I might do that later or not at all!

Gus, Sheri, Cindy, Anael, and Gladys -- such wonderful blocks and such beautiful fabric! I'm with you, Anael -- I don't much like hand applique, either. I keep hoping I'll grow to like it as (if) I get better at it!

Katybob - your blocks are great! you always amaze me with the multiple dear Janes... can barely keep up with the one!!
Anael - if you go to my post on #1544 - the triangles go in pretty easily as a y-seam by hand - just cut out the outer background [leaving the seam allowance] and sew a running stitch down to sides of the triangle. That v- shaped triangle is more difficult than it needs to be. Jane's looks like a square in a square - you can make it easily the way I just made the final round of G-4 - merely sew two strips of background to the two sides of the triangles. ... or you can just leave it your non-janiac friends will never know!! LOL

So great to see Judy, Fraew and Sheri back. Enjoyed getting to scroll through all the pretty blocks everyone is making. Hoping to be able to get back to the DJ soon but had a surprise visit to our local emergency room followed by a fast ambulance ride to a larger hospital with a cardiac unit. Back home now but have a cardiac catheterization scheduled for Thursday. Hope to be back with everyone soon

Gus, Thanks so much for this link! I've been wanting to get detail on the fabrics since I'm TRYING to match as closely as I can what Jane used. Up until now, any pictures of the quilt were in such low resolution that enlarging them wasn't much help. Now I can see the fabrics in all of their glory. I am so happy --- :-) Thanks again!
