I think this is one of my favorite blocks. I love what yinz have done colorwise. I'm late with pics this week (and last week) but will get them posted this week. Great job everyone.

(Note: I hope you gals realize that "yinz" is Pittsburghese for plural "you" LOL!)

I just love the black in your Candy Stars quilt Mirabelle - I haven't had time to start my stars this time around - but will seriously look at using the black background when I do !!! It looks stunning.

Would love to see a photo of all the blocks together that you have made - this time !!

Carriem I love your butterfly fabric, are you using 2 different background fabrics, in the photo one looks blue and the other purple??? love them all

Here are my first 21 blocks, not a great photo but it is hard when it is white on white, we are almost at the half way mark woo hoo

Mirabelle--yes I am making 2 quilts...one with the blue background and one with purple background. I have been alternating backgrounds as I go to make sure I get an even amount. Theses will be for our bed. DH and I decided with 2 big dogs that share the bed it is easier to stay covered up with our own quilts.

Carriem, I love the look of your quilt and all the blocks together. Great Job. I was thinking of a Dear Jane next, are you doing them paperpiecing also or just with the book?
