Dotty, I like the colors you're using. Aren't these blocks addicting? When we started I was only going to do 24. Now, I'm hooked and on the way to 50. Let's see how many you do LOL.
Toverly, that's striking!!! The white sashing with the little stars make for such a great lay out. Wow!!

Everyone's blocks look so beautiful. So colorful too!! I confess I have gotten sidetracked with working on Tula Pink's Butterfly quilt. I am about half way done with it. I am making it for my 3 month old Granddaughter for when she is older. Here is what it looks like in case you've never seen it.

I had ordered the kit and it is not a difficult quilt so I am enjoying it.

Ok I've been following all y'all, wishing I had time to get back to my own stars. You're doing such beautiful work! I need a pretty 12" star. I'll be making six and thought I'd pick one from the 50 Star book. Honestly, looking at yours, I can't pick. So I'm asking YOU.... What's your favorite star?

I got side tracked by failing eyesight, and not kept up with the group here, and can tell you Sheri, my favorite star is one that is done! If my right eye can see good enough, I would love to finish all 50 stars...have the stash to do so.
Fun is the ones with less pieces for me, but they all have merit and beauty....beauty is in the eye of the beholder....I have admired all the stars posted here...unique as the individual who made them and that makes them very special in my viewing of them. What do the rest of you say?

SheriR, I can't pick just one but, my favorite style stars are the stars that have "spaces" in them. When the background fabric is used in the star making them appear to have holes. I think if I ever redo this quilt, I'll include more background fabric in the stars.
Love everyone's blocks this week. Looking Good!

Everyone has great blocks again this week...no new one for me. It will probably be a couple weeks before I have a new one to share. Busy with work, getting things ready for school (we homeschool), and not getting a lot of sewing time in.
