I was going to do Flowers Hearts and Garland, it is in the masterpiece series. It looks like a great quilt to make. I can't afford the book for LBB it is $60.00, to steep for me

My thinking exactly, so I am the proud owner of the F, H+G book.
It's lovely! :D

Well here is my completed top - I actually finished it on the 4th, but the weather conspired against me for taking the pics. Even today the wind was difficult, and the stand I have wasn't tall enough, so I had to anchor the bottom corners in the ground with skewers, so it still isn't a straight on shot

Absolutely stunning, Lesley. If mine turns out half as nice, I will be thrilled.

What a beautiful piece. Lesley, your added vines and flowers in the border were a stroke of genius too, they add such a personal touch and somehow make it seem more complete. Congratulations!

What are your plans for it?

Lesley, it's phenomenal. A bit overwhelming to think that I'm only on my 4th block. When I look at yours and see all the work that was put into it I kind of wither inside.

what a masterpiece! My mind can barely wrap around some of the more simple quilts and this one just is beyond my abilities. Too beautiful...

Thank you so much everyone - Ducky, no withering allowed, yours will look great too - every block that has been posted on the AOTH threads has genuine merit and all they need is the other blocks to surround them. I just happen to have started much earlier than everyone else.
