Here is a link to "Bloc by Block" at Amazon.com.

You can buy it used. "Branch Dubois" has a 100% rating and the book costs 10.47. I have bought many used quilt books and they are all good. You pay Amazon, and they take care of notifying the book seller and they send it to you. Usually in just a few days. Just make sure there is a 100% rating on the seller.

I have never done a BOM, but have always wanted to.... I am excited and ready to sign up. I like the town idea.

Hi! I went ahead and ordered the book, figured even if we don't use these blocks it would be a good reference book. I've started checking out the used book section now for a while and nearly all the books I get are used. Haven't had any problems so far with the ordering and have been very pleased with what I've ordered. Almost like going to the used book store except on the internet; and its amazing the difference in price to a new book.

Whoops! I do want to thank the one who took the trouble to look up the Block to Block book information. I am going to keep that info.

I love to buy the used books, most of which look pretty dang new. Only draw back is shipping is usually a little slower.

Unless the format has changed from what has been done in the past, you don't need to sign up. It's not a swap. You check in on the first of each month to get the block and the pattern and you make your own block to keep. Anyone who wants to can do the BOM.

That is the book. I wish I had my copy machine set up so I could scan it and send it so you could see the quilt. It is called "Hometown Christmas Quilt"
