Dear Jane Cyber Block Party D5, G10, H1, BR2 Pics

lacelady - gorgeous blocks! What happy fabric. :D
Klue - hug your coworker who is looking into the root cause of Fibro for me. I appreciate all his hard work!!!!! I wasn't diagnosed until 1992 but we've traced it back to when I was 4 years old. Normally it isn't triggered until menopause but stress can bring it out and I come from a fairly violent family & we figure that is what did it. Add in my allergies, Celiac Disease, and arthritis and it's easier for me to just spend the majority of my time in the safety of my house, close to my sewing machine and my bed.
Janstar - Wow! I love the yellows and golds. It makes the blocks look so rich.

The Fibromyalgia is interesting to me. As a family law attorney, it comes up when we deal with support issues. People who have illnesses like that are often fighting for their positions, and that they have a "real" illness...many courts (read judges) and attorneys, and their former spouses, believe it's a made-up illness, or at best, exaggerated. If it comes up in one of my cases again (had it once), I'll contact you (KLue and Tiffany) to point me to the latest research and thinking on the illness.
In my one case, my client suffered from it tremendously. Her ex was saying she needed to get to work and stop living "off him"...but he dropped his claims. She really was quite sick and incapacitated so much. The court case only made things worse...Fortunately, he dropped the matter and continues to pay her support. I often wonder how she's doing...probably not well. It was really hard for her to just get up every day.

Now back to the Dear Jane quilt. My software hasn't come in (ARGH!) and it looks like it won't be here for at least a few more days. (Banging head over here!) I'm going to see if one of my friends will let me make a copy of some of the week 1 patterns from her book and hopefully I can get started. I really don't want to fall behind!

Here is my entry for Week 2!! Good lord, but the BR2 triangle is not perfect and I don't care anymore! I can't stand the idea of starting AGAIN or ripping another seam on that thing. LOL!!!!!!!!!!! It's not perfect and it's ok. No one will ever notice in the grand scheme.... that's my theory and I'm sticking to it!
