Slow forward moving....cutting out the center. Still auditioning bandana print vs. solid marble fabric. Love my colors of fabric. I am addicted to the Quilted Twins email of various fabric put together and their interesting stories of Poland and Florida. They have over 10,000 bolts of fabric and are on U-tube with them. some 97 different panels. We drove to Cantril, Iowa, Dutchman's Store where the lady let me 'pet' the fabric there, and bring some home with me. Weather is much cooler now, leaves are turning. DH got a shot in his eye in DM,and he can see better now. Our HS class had a 'Zoom video' reunion and it was nice to hear and see the ones who joined the group spread out across the country, East to West and North to South.

I am anxious to see your center QNS! I am plugging away at my blocks and have been able to keep up with the 2 a week so far. However, that is about to change!

We are leaving on Sunday for a Rally with our RV Group for 3 days, then heading to Idaho to visit with our best friends who live there. We will probably be there for a couple of weeks before coming home at the end of the month. I am taking my travel sewing machine, and have printed out the patterns and fabrics for the next few weeks to take along, but am not hopeful that I will get very much done - we will see!

I have last weeks blocks completed, one turned out real wonky, I just need to get them pressed and trimmed. I'll get a photo of them and post later today.

oh no! I had started stitching the center block and had set today aside to sew. But was having problems getting the strips and triangle to fit together. I don't know what I did wrong, but have to stitch it again. The girls will be back tomorrow for "teacher" grandma. Time for exhaustion and frustration. I still have tonight. Wish me luck!

I, too ,had problems with the center. I finally resorted to looking at the book again and how she had done it. Yes,i had kept the 'braids' in straight rows up and down. But I had sewn the matching 'braids' together....and that was the problem, with too many of the circle pieces there in the center. I separated the two strips in the up an down centers and the one that crossed the middle and laid out the 'crossing' from corner to; corner. Wow, it looked like the picture on block 93.
