Oooh, what lovely blocks you ladies have. Love your 'pinky' color palette, Midwestmom.

I more block and I will be all caught up with the quilt. These are the 6" block round.

We are leaving for Phoenix for Thanksgiving with one of my sons and our granddaughter on Sunday. Will be there for a week. Should have time to get caught up and also to start Bonnie Hunter's new Mystery.

One step at a time, one hour at a time, this too shall pass. I slept well last night, and made dh breakfast this morning for the first time in a long time. Yes, I like the direction I am going on the homestead quilt...yes, I am slow in making progress, but I am going forward. And petting my fabric when I am not sewing.

I have laid our my flying geese around the center medallion, going with a Sunshine and Shadow effect around the center. I think I like that. So far, so good. Yes, I am following Bonnie Hunter and saving her clues, but I am not making at this time. Pictures later, maybe.

I am so sorry I have been such a bad "leader" of this quilt along. It is hard to keep up when I am not able to sew the blocks too! Plus I go in spurts where I don't get any notifications from the quilting board so I kind of forget to check in...

Happy New Years to everyone still hanging around!!

Anyone still working on these blocks each week? I have my center done and fabrics cut for the surrounding border and flying geese. One day I'll be able to do some small cutting/paper piecing again!! I have more testing this week on my hand...

Yes, I am keeping caught up, just have not posted photos in a while. I have one more block to do for this week, and have the next three weeks printed and ready to work on. I'll post a photo when I finish the last weekly block, however may not be this week, we will see. I'm working on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery, and we have a lot of work to do this week.

Ok everyone! I hope you are all still working on this project! This is an updated picture of my efforts so far in this round. A few of the Grassy Creek blocks are on the bottom also. I am caught up as of last week.

Wonderful work. I am looking forward to when everyone starts piecing their quilt blocks together. I just have to see this quilt everyone is creating.
