The story goes that Canadians add eh! to the end of every sentence ... question, exclamation, statement, frustation, exasperation, whatever .. eh!

Watch the movie Fargo and Upper Midwest sounds will tickle the ear with a touch of Scandinavia and Germanic tongues.

Dubib...I grew up in Warshington state and didn't know I was even saying the r until I came to the Midwest and got laughter at.

QuiltE...my DSIL is from BC Canada and I still hear some of those Canadian paticularies in her speech even though she's lived in the states for over 50 years.

GGal ... but does she still spell Canadian? .... as in coloUr, neighboUr, etc.
Now you have me wondering what our other Canadian idiosyncratic words are?


Is waRsh a regional thing?
or just how some people toss in an extra sound accidentally, and then can't get out of the habit?
I've heard it here too.

While y'all are sittin' 'round the campfire, anxiously waiting for the New Blocks .... there's time to trot on over to the FWS Update page and help me out.

Perhaps a good distraction to pass the time til it's time for the new PC Threads!
