I haven't started my blocks yet. I don't like to paperpiece because of all the waste. I will try the template method to cut out my pieces. The other reason I don't like it is when you sew the pieced sections together it is hard to get your points to match, so I will try the clip. Maybe I will learn to like paperpiecing after all. Thanks for all of the tips. The blocks are all very nice.

Sweet, I would wait 24 hours to let the ink cure and then just to be sure I would place a piece of scrap fabric on top and iron it just with a up and down movement.

Toomanyufo, I also hate waste and use the templates occasionally...When a block has just squares, triangles & rectangles I measure the blocks, add the seam allowance then continue the ppaing...When sewing the sections together pin the points or corners of the pieces together..they need to match. then use the clips to hold the section together...

there is rotary cutting on the CD for those not pping...you could do it that way also..

When I went to office depot to try to get my book spiraled (they would not cut off the book for some reason), they said they could print from the cd on their laser printer. I chose not to have them do it. In retrospect, it may be a good thing to have a complete copy of the cd spiral bound for reference.
Can anyone here help out with a better answer to the laser printer pp problem?
Oh man. After I slept on it, I realized it's probably the heat from the iron that is causing the ink to transfer to the fabric, so your this made it click... I know it somehow uses heat to apply the toner to the paper, so that could be why it comes off as its ironed. I'm going to try a different printing option and move on to the next two blocks. I'll get pix posted of the inked up blocks tomorrow, but tonight, I kinda want to start the next one.

Husky, I love your gray and blue fabrics. Are you planning to keep with that theme?
