Finished both of the blocks:
Both 33 and 34 are 'advanced' blocks...lots of pieces mainly. One stitch at a time...Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Remember to turn your scales back 19 pounds this week.

Love your blocks, QNS. I especially like your Eva. Such pretty fabric. I printed the foundation patterns for 33 and 34 and you're right -- they're going to take some time!

What bright, pretty blocks, QNS. I see a "turned" flying geese unit in Fanny--I have a block that I did the same thing; I am NOT taking it out. Just proves we are not perfect. Love the small flower print in Eva.

Thanks Katybob and JanrRN for your kind words. It is a struggle for me; started with bf visiting here, but could not see to cut out or sew together then. Today is better. Posted a Cranberry Relish on the PC site, if anyone wants to know.

That's really fun to use fabric from the past that you recognize as first being clothes. My mother sewed dresses for me and I have a bit of scraps tucked away from them. Not sure where! :-p
That yellow and blue plaid is a wonderful choice! Well done!
So many cute blocks here! Still working on mine.

Jan, I agree with your sentiment about leaving imperfections-- as is obvious with some of my blocks-- Eva included, with her off centered pieces. I thought about seam ripping and making adjustments, but when I showed it to my husband, he said, "It looks like a satellite flying too close to the sun!" and liked it, so I thought, "Good enough!"

I love your unique and one of a kind blocks, so lovely. What a beautiful quilt you will have; looking forward to seeing more of your blocks! Great eye candy.

I have the next two cut out and ready to sew..rather...pp. Thought I would sew today, but dh had a bad neck spell, so we went into the chiropractor who was on his weekly break, but met us at his office and helped somewhat. Need the blocks done by the first...or finish them late.
