Here's a scan of my paper pieced Coral made with my late mother in law's Holly Hobby fabric. I meant for the block to be turned the other way, but it got all upside down when paper piecing it. Geometry or spatial vision is not my strong suit. ...doing this all out of order, but hopefully it won't take too long. I'm trying to do a block a day.

I know, Jeanie! It's the cutest fabric. I hope Ruby would be happy with how I used it. She was a girl in the 30's, so I think of her often while I'm sewing these blocks. I sure do miss her. She was a wonderful lady

Ha ha! I know. I haven't been able to meet the goal lately. I was working on a toddler blanket and an owl hat:

First time sewing with minky. (It's hard to see maybe, but there's a little shark fin on the right side of the blanket since she wanted all things tooth-y (dinosaurs or sharks).

Now back to the blocks!
