Anael - Do you have any feelings about shortening your name? And how do you pronounce your board name? Does it stand for anything?
As for me I like both Bev & BB (dublb is short for double B.) I have a tendency to shorten everything. I don't mind the actual board name either.

dublb, I would not know how to shorten my board name. It stands for one of the angels of creation and is pronounced the way it's written, you hear every letter. I don't know how to explain this! I don't like An so to me that's no option. Besides I don't have a long boardname or hard to write so as far as I'm concerned I just stay Anael.

Just checking in on the campfire. QNS, you are truly a great hostess. I'm going to wear my pants with the stretchy elastic waist band!! Yum- everything sounds so good.
I've been finishing up some UFOs this week. My Viking was in the shop and I had to wait for it to do the actual quilting. Sewing binding on Storm at Sea today and then plan to start QAYG on my PC blocks. Haven't been able to spend much time here-mom had a few health issues as did Patches (the dog). Not sure who I worry about more LOL!!!
I have Italian Wedding Soup in the crock pot; made enough to bring to the camp fire tonight!

Recipe, JanRN, recipe. Please post. I have heard that is very good. Give your Mom and Patches some extra hugs, too, before you bring your crock pot to the campsite dinner. And post pictures of your projects if you can.
Green beans will have slices of salt pork, with favor you will not believe. Its old fashioned cheap farm food my Grandmother taught me how to do it. Salt pork is sold at most grocery stores, cheaper than bacon, with twice the favor. Go for more lean than fat, and slice the back rind off first, then slice it as thick as you want. Brown it in the Iron skillet, then add the green beans. Feed the rind part to the dog 'cause its tough. Fry it first, though, it get all the favor from it into the beans.

Yes, dublb, I read the books a number of times and checked out the website. I admire anyone that can stack cookies and make them look like a hamburger.
Successful in planting all the plants I could today and put the remainder in the garage. Finished laundry for the week, kitchen is cleaned up, so may be I can sew tomorrow. Anyone else finished any project this week?? JanRN, I think I can smell your crock pot soup, but no recipe??
Tomorrow its Texas Bar-Be-Que, short ribs, Boston baked beans, cornbread, cold slaw, and home made ice cream.
Breakfast is potato cakes, eggs the way you like them, and bacon. Milk, tea or coffee. Lunch is creamy chicken noodle over toast, with steamed broccoli, and pie of your choice. Enjoy.
