I have been sick for over a week myself. Went to the Dr. yesterday and have bronchitis. She put me on antibiotics. I don't know when I have been so weak. I have no energy. Hopefully in a few days I'll bounce back to myself. I certainly hope so. Get well everyone!

I am so sorry to hear all of you that have been sick. You are in my prayers to get well soon.

QNS the Christmas Fabric sale will stock you back up some for next year.

Bev it sounds like you will have fun with your quilt project. Have fun!

So much sickness this winter! Hope all are getting over their 'bugs' and getting stronger.

That Walkabout pattern is a favorite in my charity quilting group. One lady has made dozens of them! I made one and modified it to be rectangular instead of square. It's easy and fast and always looks good.

Great selection of Christmas fabric, QNS.

I hope everyone and their loved ones are on the mend!
QNS, Waiting to see what you make next! You could get an early start on a Christmas project.
Wow, Bev, teaching a class! Good for you. It's a great beginner pattern, so your students are bound to do well with it.

It was my son's birthday last week, and I gave him the BH 2017 MQ, En Provence, that I made. I asked him to send me a picture of it, as my camera is broken, and I don't have a cell phone camera either. All the young people have cell phone cameras... He took it with him on a trip to visit a friend in Chicago, which sort of surprised me, so I guess he likes it well enough! His friends held it up. Not a great picture as the bottom of the quilt is cut off, but better than nothing! My biggest change to the pattern was that I did my own idea for the border, rather than using all 2" neutral squares as BH did.

It's beautiful, Giv! Like the color scheme. I just did Bonnie's and I should have known I wouldn't like the purple... I'm so not a purple person. Ended up selling mine... This year I learned my lesson and changed her colors to some I liked better. Next year I will learn my lesson and not do the mystery at all! Those quilts are so labor intensive.

Love yours, and I'm sure your son does too. It turned out great!

Great looking quilt, givio.

JeanieG, glad you are on the mend now.

Celebrating DH birthday tomorrow with his cousin and wife. I haven't baked the turkey I got for the holidays, she the bird will be on the table tomorrow with dressing and all the usual sides with pumpkin pie dessert. DH's request since he did not get any during the holidays.

My computer ended up all messed after trying to download a pattern on QB, but daughter came on board and straightened everything out for me. Love her.

That is beautiful Givio - mine is still in the process of me quilting it! I have not done anything since I started On Ringo Lake. I am putting the blocks together.

Givo, It is just lovely! Ya go girl. I am so very glad that your DSon likes it.
I am not sure that I will do another BH mystery. I agree w/SBG that it is very labor intensive. Maybe I will download the steps & take my time making one. We will see. I am sewing a few blocks at a time of my ORL. It will take me a long time to get this one made. I did get 2 sewn on Tues.
