OH that's wonderful QNS! While today was very cool the sun came out. I did start a fire in the wood burning stove. There is just something about having a fire in the stove.

I'm surprised hubby hasn't yet built a fire for us... it was 30-something degrees last night!

12 degrees above zero this morning, but it is warming up and the snow is disappearing. Sewing on BS in the red, white and blue colors. Still trying to figure out when I use the 15 1/2 inch strips...??????

I did , I did figure out the strips that are 15 1/2 inches! And how I can do my Christmas BS if the background fabric falls short in the BS pattern.

We travel on Missouri 149 North to Iowa border and into my hometown. I have often told my husband ( in the last 13 years) someday we were coming to find a State Trooper in Omaha....no longer a 'town' or 'village' it hosts a church, cross roads and sheep. It has a speed limit of 35 miles of hour..by the township office, grader, and old no longer in business gas station. Last week as we speed North, he did slow down for Omaha, and there was two State Troopers, one on each side of the road, Lady Troopers, and one stopped us. Checked license and insurance cards and we thanked them for their service, and they waved us on with a smile. Nice to know we do have Troopers in the North Central part of the State, within four miles of the Iowa line. LOL!

Well Sue, ya did say "someday." LOL Someday came.
This is the guild BOM that I am making. I am not happy w/it. I am gonna take it apart & add a half inch black sashing to it. I don't want to make it any wider as that might take away the flow of color from purple to green.

Oh, I love that Bev, just the way it is! Love how the colors transition. So pretty!

Thank You SBG. I'm thrilled that ya see & like the flow of colors.
I am not pleased w/how the blocks bleed into each other. I'm thinking that a half inch of black will separate 'em w/o messing up that flow of color too much.

I like it as it is, Dublb. I see the flow of color, and the more I look at it, the better I like it. but it has to please you, cause you are making it.

Thanks Sue. It pleases me that ya like the color transitions. I got it taken apart last night. Hopefully I can get the sashing sewn on today.
