I think you have been on a roll. SBG. And your time stamps don't look really really late. You get an hour's grace period here in the Midwest!

This has been my April project...8 quilts to Nebraska. Two of the smaller ones I have had on hand and just decided to send them. I'm so disappointed in photo quality

Wow... so many nice quilts, OK! Are these for family gifts?

No Bonnie, they aren't for family. After seeing the devastation in Nebraska this March between blizzards and flooding, I felt compelled to do something to help the many farm families that are hurting. Via my sister in law who has friends in NB, I have made contact with a woman to distribute these to rural families. As a farmer myself I watched in dismay the destruction not only to homes and outbuildings, but to animals and fields. It is far from over in the flooded areas along the Missouri, Platte and subsidiaries of those rivers. Members of my guild also have pledged quilts which hopefully go out later next week.

What a great thing to do! I'm sure they will be blessed by this generous gift.

SBG great progress you are making!

Gladie I am glad you were able to get some pictures before sending your quilts off...not a lot of sun here in Iowa this week!

I got a good start on the D9P quilt I am making for a grad quilt this week...need to get the borders on. LQS is having sale next week so I'll buy what I need then.

I also got a FW 1930s block finished today. I figure I just have 2 more I am going to make then put it together in a 4x5 configuration for a 34"x42" wallhanging...the 30s fabrics should look good hanging in my craft room with the orange (cantaloupe colored) walls. This picture isn't a final "how they will be"...I just wanted to see the approx. layout size.

OK, You are so kind and thoughtful to make and donate these beautiful quilts. All the quilts are great but love that butterfly and the blue HST quilt. The recipients will surely be happy to get them.
