OK, I love your donation quilts. They should cheer up the recipients.
Carrie, your 30's quilt is coming along nicely!
We are gonna pick up the vanity & wainscoting today. It is a short trip to San Angelo to get it.

Oh, I love, love, love those quilts...Ok and Carrie. Ok, I am so happy you put those scraps into a quilt! Thank you echoing my sentiments for the farmers in Nebraska. some are going to homeless for a long time, and ever longer be they can ever plant their fields.
Carrie, you put together some lovely squares. Still have to drag mine out and sew them together. What nice encouragement you both have offered to me to 'get going' on mine.
SewBizGirl, not meaning anything bad about the late hour posting, just marveling how late you posted 'cause I cannot stay awake that long, I'd crashed at nine o'clock! But then I am not a young chick anymore. Wow. The truth is, I have never been able to be productive after 9 pm. I crash then. Maybe that is why I am so far behind and ignoring the rest I should be doing!
We old guys are still on winter heat running in our home! Our peas and potatoes are up in the garden. No baby chicks until June 18th when our 20 keets arrive. Hope it warms up by then.

No QNS, I just thought if was funny you noticed I was up so late! It's a bad habit of mine. Then I need a nap the next day and feel like I've wasted the day!
Carrie, your 30's blocks are so cheery, and look so familiar! And I love the bright happy sunny D9P quilt top. That's going to really cheer up a room.
Just found out I can go to see the grandbabies this weekend--- so I will be leaving this afternoon. Snuggles await me tonight!

Thank you all...I am making the D9P for a graduation gift...her favorite color is yellow and flower sunflowers. It is always a favorite pattern to make!
I got another FW30s block done today. My daughter (Phoebe, 17) was able to join Laura and I sewing today and she decided she likes the fabrics and would like a quilt for her guest room someday. lol So now instead of 1 more block I have 64 more to make.
I got fabrics cut for the quilt Phoebe is working on this morning...she was able to get all the blocks sewn today. So next week when she has a day off she'll get them together and the borders on. Laura is working on a curved log cabin quilt for her SIL using the method they teach on a Missouri Star youtube video..

Thanks. I acquired another old Singer and cabinet this morning at an estate sale...only $17.50! Missing the cord and the pedal wire needs replaced, but otherwise looks to be in good condition. I've never seen on in a desk like cabinet like this one...usually just drawers on one side.

Looks like a nice Singer model 15. You should be able to find the parts you lack without too much trouble. Nice cabinet too. Sure can’t beat that price!<script type="text/javascript" src="https://beacon.krxd.net/optout_check?callback=Krux.ns.internetbrands.kxjso np_optOutCheck"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://cdn.krxd.net/userdata/get?pub=1fd60e18-8393-4b6e-a7aa-b1e5ec133043&technographics=1&callback=Krux.ns.internetbrands.kxjsonp_userdata"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://consumer.krxd.net/consent/get/1fd60e18-8393-4b6e-a7aa-b1e5ec133043?idt=device&dt=kxcookie&callback=Krux.ns.internetbrands.kxjsonp_consent_ge t_0"></script>
