Thanks, JuneBille. I can hardly wait! Will let you know when I get it.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. BIL down yesterday, so I fried chicken, baked potatoes, made gravy, with peas and carrots, and cole slaw. Cleaned up and put away leftovers for today. No pies or cakes made or cookies. Will read or sew today.
Life is a challenge some days and we go one step at a time or one stitch at a time.

Black Friday is upon us. I am giving up my place in line at the check out and in the parking lots...to anyone who wants to challenge the crowd for the bargains. May you find some good ones.
I am staying home, enjoying every minute of it. We did not stuff ourselves, ate a beef roast with onions, carrots, celery, and mushrooms cooked in with the beef. Low calorie and good. Dh requested a pie, so I made one pumpkin and one apple pie. Hopeing I get into the quilting room today and play a bit making more wild geese in flight.
Have a good day.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with 26 family members, and 2 friends. Quite a crew, thank goodness for almost 80* temperatures, so 3 tables outside on the patio, besides 2 tables in the house. All the kids, and grandkids opted for outdoors. It was a pot luck affair, with daughters and guests supplying some of the food. I had the grandkids (ages 21 to 27) bring desserts. We had a variety which was great.
Below is a photo of my grandkids and great-granddaughter all acting funny!
Bonnie Hunter 1st clue on her new Mystery came out this morning. That is what I'm going to do today, cut and make 4 patches of neutrals.

QNS...how generous for you to give up your pot in both line and parking...dinner sounds delicious..
Wonderful beautiful family, Jeanie...and isn't it great when everyone contributes to the meal...a true blessing.
MrOK and I had good weather to travel north...DD made Thanksgiving dinner for her in law's visiting from Holland...we had 15 for dinner...our SinL celebrated his 50th b-day yesterday...family visit was a big surprise for him...DD pulled it off successfully...

You have a beautiful family, Jeanie!
Glad you all got to enjoy the day with friends and family. We have been at my daughter's since Wednesday. So much food, and good times.

That kitty is one of three they have... and she is recovering from some major surgery. I don't know if you can see that her lower half was shaved, and part of her tail and forelegs. She disappeared for 4 days outside. During that time she had some sort of accident but was finally able to drag herself home by her front legs. Her pelvis was broken in 5 places and her abdominal wall was torn open inside. She had to have emergency surgery on her abdomen, and then about a day later, had another surgery by a specialist to pin her pelvis back together. She is recovering well but is very frail and limps. Poor kitty. She has the sweetest temperament... always looking for a lap to curl up in.
