Here is my version of Bonnie Hunter's Grand Illusion. It is still a flimsy and I forgot to take a photo and post it for you to see. I added the sashing around each block, because I thought the design was too busy for my taste.

Jeanie, that is awesome. I love the colors you chose and with the light shining on it looks almost like stained glass. Good choice adding the sashing-I think it would be too jumbled without it and the blocks wouldn't show. I love this quilt.
