I promise to take some photos of my blocks tomorrow.. HMMMM chocolate slice reminds me of Almond Joy candy or Mounds....very interesting...and Yes this procrastinator is still not done with her MB for December shame on me..It's my priority for tomorrow...The kids have been here 3 times since Sunday...I'm tired of pasta!!!

My MB will be at it's new home on Jan 2. I had ta stand in line for 1 hour at the PO. LOL That's what I git for waitin' so long ta git it out. I did mail a few other things out at the same time. I knew it would be bad this time o' year. I also forgot ta take a pict. I'm sorry Anael. I think my head is screwed on backwards. I keep losin' things & forgittin' things.

I'm sure Jan 2 will be fine with whomever gets your block dublb. I am like Honchey, I am not done with my Dec. MB yet either. I got most of it put together today, and hopefully can get it finished by tomorrow.

I'm practicing my FMQ skills. I came across a stunning Christmas Stocking yesterday here on the board and I thought to give it a try. Problem is the feathers don't stand out from a distance, not even after echoing them. I think I should have used matching thread? Any advice?

Bev, Honchey and Jeanie, thanks for the encouragement on MBs, I have not started mine yet, so there may be a number of late MBs arriving late. But late is better than never. Its a busy time of the year. Nor have I sent out the little surprise boxes stateside yet...so they are running late as well. Time has gotten away from me this year...no excuses...except no flour for cookies...and I got it yesterday. Best intentions of the day, will see what develops today.

Love the sign QNS, Anael, Your FM doesn't need any further practice...It is beautiful...in moving some "stuff" around last nite I discovered 3 scrap potholders that I attempted some FM on and I had a good laugh!!!I have to finish turning & sewing the binding onto the front..

QNS, You have a very generous spirit and please don't get upset about anything being done for the Holidays not getting done. That also goes for the rest of us with the MB's not getting done on time...I don't think there's anybody hiding with a club anywhere...We are friends here and in the spirit of the Holidays we have to remember that its better to give than receive....Did I just say that???? Ha ha ..You all know what I mean...Now to gather my blocks , press the last two I received, Jan's & QuiltE's...I forgot to mention that I received QuiltE's block the beginning of the week..need to press them for their photo shoot and have them join their buddies in a group shot...so off to find the camera I put someplace so the kids don't sit on it or kick it or hopefully remember where I put it..

I remember a few years ago, just after I started quilting, I watched a lady on youtube quilting feathers. I was convinced I could never ever do such a thing. And here I am, quilting feathers But I do need a lot of practice, there's so much I still can't do.
