Thanks JeanieG ... I'm just nervous on it being cooked on time. I'll cook them here and have them ready to eat before I leave. They can stay warm in the crock as a drive to Christmas and then plug it back in. Have you been able to keep them warm for extended times without getting too burned/stuck to the crock?

JanRN I love your Rosie quilt, and the border fabric is perfect to bring all the colours together, well done.
QuiltE what a beautiful set of blocks you have, they look so good together.
I have one more side to hand sew the binding on and then I will take a pic, this monster is 98 x 110 inches so it is taking me a while to get around it. Yesterday I decided to take a break from it and start the latest Spike block but I am no unmotivated to sit at my sewing machine. I think I am all sewn out. Hope I find some enthusiasm soon as DD will be home on Monday and is bring some projects with her. We are having Christmas dinner on Monday evening so the chef may be put to work (haven't told her yet)
JeanieG the potato dish sounds delicious, I just have 2 problems with it, 1 I don't own a crock pot and 2 I don't eat mashed potato, DH has to beg for mash. Give me a crispy baked potato any day

Well, I cannot see a mistake, but I'm sure if I ever tried to make it, there would be many more mistakes!!!!! It is beautiful Mirabelle!!! I am also with you on the mashed potatoes! I prefer scalloped any day, and that is what we are having for Christmas dinner.
Jan, those two Rosies are fabulous! Great job!

Oh, Mirab---that is fantastic! And no, I don't see a mistake. I'm in awe--I can't imagine keeping track of the color placement, the rows, putting them together--wow!!
Ggal, great blocks for QE; her MB quilt is going to be so pretty.
Today is the shortest day of the year. It's 60* and has rained non-stop since last night. First day of winter but feels like spring. Now we start getting an extra minute of daylight each day--that's a positive thing!

JanRN, I like your Christmas Throw, so bright and cheery.
QuiltE, nice blocks there, and nice group all together.
Mirabelle, IF there is a mistake in there, keep mum about it...few good eyes might notice it...others will see all the beauty and love in that quilt...so much detail and work! So it is a humble quilt, but it can still show love and hours worth of work that you put into that quilt. Rejoice that it is done.
JanRN, you are right on, its the shortest day of the year, and it starts getting lighter earlier and darkness coming on later each day. Hurray....one day closer to spring.
Enjoyed everyone's comments that they have shared and the beautiful quilts and blocks that they have shared. Thank you.
