Good morning. Hope everyone is well and enjoying Spring (altho we missed spring and went right to 90* all last week). I'm trying to get all my projects finished up because we have some remodeling projects coming up and I won't be able to sew very much. Finished a mini quilt with houses & trees, 2 table runners for the B&B and made the QOTS mini blocks into a 91 block twin bed quilt. But of course with my QuiltersADD I started a new project of various size stars for a patriotic quilt. I've used nothing but scraps for blocks, only cut into yardage for sashing, borders & backings and my scrap box is still full!!

Enjoy your day, do something you love.

Good morning Our spring has been a funny one...hot one week and cold the next; 80 today, 60s this week until Thursday and up to 70. We put the boat in this weekend and took a ride Friday night and again yesterday before taking it out (rain was coming).

I made good progress in my sewing room last night...finished the borders on DDs graduation quilt, got the binding on and finished on a quilt that has been waiting a few months and started quilting a different quilt that has been sandwiched for a long time! DD's quilting will be next to be quilted. Here is a picture...fabrics are much brighter than in the picture.

Good morning....birds are singing...several Orioles in the treetops..May. have to refill the feeders today.. a couple more hummingbirds too. We've had plenty of moisture so frogs are creaking as well. Had a guest yesterday to look at cows...ended spending most of the day..that was okay as we hadn't seen him in years..a lot of catching up to do. I just didn't get some yard work done before the rain came. It looks like I can get some done this afternoon. Have some annuals I want to plant among other things.

Came, DD quilt has come along nicely....

Sounds like Teacher Beg will be busy this week good luck.

Have a good week...the usual here...bookwork, lawn mowing, DD here for memorial weekend so must get bedrooms. In order...I've been piling quilt stuff in the one....later...

Carriem, Your DD's quilt turned out great! very colorful and I like the way you bordered it..I've only seen crazy quilts with no borders..

Bev, have a good time with your students tomorrow..make copies of everything to hand out to the students..saves a lot of questions & answers from them..

Jan, Jan, Jan, you are so busy in your retirement!!! Pictures please???

OK, You too are a very busy person...it's good to know that you take the time to enjoy your surroundings...
QNS, Hi to you, hope you are doing ok too!

I had a wonderful time with my sisters this past couple of days...Yesterday before I left them eldest sis decided we would have a facial, mudpack included with photos of us all taken by the maid..I will post them when she sends them to me..They are hilarious to say the least....We had a lot of fun...Now it's back to the grind of everyday living for me..
Have a good day all of you,,,catch you later, H.

Honchey,....Pictures of mud faces???? do you dare sent us a copy privately or on PC discussion???

Lovey work, Carrie. Progress is good.

Ok, Memorial Day is coming; company and enjoying a chat is good. I do not always decorate the graves for MD, just grow them on our place and feel close to departed family that way. Seems like the flowers are stolen or grabbed by someone else for their own use. So many years we were not close to home area...so out of practice, I guess. Family history seems to be stopping with me...time passes by so quickly.

Back to finishing hot pads...broke a machine needle, so had to pause and replace it. Cooler weather moving in this week.

We got home last Thursday, enjoyed my time with DS and his family and then our RV group rally. I picked up a some more yardage at a LQS that I visit every time I'm in Phoenix. Great fabric at great prices. All cotton fabric is only $6.95 a yard, and they have two very large storage shelf units with fabric at $3.95 a yard. I always hit the $3.95 a yard fabric first, then check out the rest of the store. Really friendly workers, always very helpful.

I see everyone is very busy, as usual. My three tomato plants really grew while I was away. Can't wait for them to ripen! Yum.

Carrie that quilt is great--love the bright jewel-like colors and that border fabric is to die for! Great job!
