You ladies make me laugh! But QE is right. I really do need a nudge and the FW quilt is at the top of my UFO to-do list, right after I finish the postage stamp quilt I'm working on now.

Come on Evie ... you don't want to show favouritism and let that Postage Stamp quilt get done, straight thru ..... it needs its time as an UFO while you finish your FWS!

Soooooooooooo how can I up the ante to nudge the 4 of you to the finish line?

    hhmmmmmm!! .......... thinking!

Mine has to simmer some more--like a good soup it needs time for the flavors (colors) to blend.

Here's all the blocks finally done. Some are sewn together, some are not yet. It has hung on my design wall in AZ, my HS classroom last teaching job as suggestions for designing blocks in my Geometry class where we made quilts, & now in my CA studio. Now to finish the borders, layer it, & come up w/some quilting designs to quilt in on my Tin Lizzie. I really like those who have done separate block quilting designs as well, back to looking at pics. Think I may do some 2" squares to inset on point in the border.

Auntjo, Your quilt is stunning. Nice work, rather outstanding work. Love all your blocks and I may do the same color sashing with mine. I have 33 blocks out of 50 completed. Can't wait to find the time to complete it.

What a great way to enlarge the quilt without taking away from the awesome center blocks.

I have finally completed my quilt! I finished the piecing a year ago and started quilting it on my domestic machine. Got maybe a third of it done and then last fall I bought a longarm at the insistence of my hubby! I didn't complain too hard! Anyway, here is the quilt done, done , done!! I do love it and think it is the most interesting quilt I've ever made. I just cross-hatched in all the blocks and used straight lines in the sashings. Then I added the feather border to top it off. Hope you enjoy viewing it. Nancy.Name: IMG_6240-001.JPG

Nancy--your quilt looks great! I really like the yellow setting triangles and your quilting finishes it off nicely.
