Your block is so pretty. I have been absent too since before the holidays, I hope to catch up soon.

Judy, I just saw a pp pattern where the 1" square is placed inside the parameters of the design. Anne
That could work out. You could just measure a square or rectangle on the pattern and then include that with the pattern so people could compare their print-outs.

Good idea Anne!
I am still unable to get it sent thru the internet. I can print it, scan it but No PDF will show up.( it shows up on list to print for the PDF deal but it doesn't happen. Does it bneed to be listed as default? I am sorry about taking up this space for this but am lost as what to do.
Hi Judy, I managed to get it into a pdf file and sent it to myself but I can't open it !!?? I'm going to try to upload it here. I hope it works !!!

***permission to share pp patterns has been withdrawn***

That was a test run right? I haven't read all of this thread. Two of the pieces on the right are missing.

Here's number whatever.

Pookie, Judy and I have been wracking our brains out trying to get the pp from EQ into a pdf file and I finally did it. I scanned the pattern and saved it to a file and the scanner/computer automatically put it in that format. there was a dropdown box with several options- save to file/pdf- was one of them. I had to draw the pp up in EQ first- then section it into group- then print it -then scan the print. I think there is a way to do it thru EQ but I'm not that into it yet. Maybe someone here would know and pass on the info?? the only drawback is that the background of the scanned pp is shaded pale gray not white like the paper.

I know it's on a second page. the corners are identical to the ones on the left side. I could send it if you want.

Thanks, Anne. I printed it twice.

I haven't finished studying my EQ book so I don't know about making PDFs from there. Unfortunately, EQ's the last thing on my to do list.

Thanks for doing the leg work. Appreciated.

Please forgive me, but I think that I made a mistake when I told Judy that it was okay to share pp patterns. It is not the patterns that are the problem (the pub company gave permission for that) it is that they are EQs. EQ very, very generously gave permission for the yahoogroup to have a file of their patterns and if you all would be so kind, we really need to keep them there. If you join the yahoogroup, you may use the patterns that are posted there. There is such a fine line between sharing the patterns and making the quilt, and hurting EQs business. Both EQ's people and the product are wonderful and have been a huge help to me (I coudn't produce a book without them) and I want to respect their generousity. I am so sorry that I was not thinking correctly when I gave Judy this information. Thank you for your understanding and forgiveness of my big boo-boo.
