I just discovered the beauty of Morning Glories a few years ago. And now plant them in two large planters on my deck, and then they twine up the railing, and a trellis wall I built for them. I'm all game for anything that re-seeds! Now if we could only smuggle some of your seeds up here. This past year, I even had some double white MG's that I planted amidst my blues. I can see my deck from my bedroom window ... nothing finer to wake up to each day. Then enjoy them all day, as I can see them from the kitchen and family room windows!

Yes, I agree ... we learn lots from these not so great decisions we made. FWS has taught me a lot about fabric mixes, colours and contrasts. I've also discovered the merits ot tone-on-tones and the many different types of them. Something I seldom used in the past but now am hooked on them.

MG's--will see what comes up! :-)
I don't use solids very often, but tonals are a favorite as they read as solids, but with more depth.

Yes ... that's what I've come to appreciate ... the depth they give instead of the flat, cold blah-ness of the perfectly plain (and boring!) solids!!

Alright GGal, lovely, lovely! Now you're inspiring me to get back to mine, but just can't right now. Keep them coming!

How many more do you have to do? I still need about 35 and I won't get to them for awhile either.

OMG OMG OMG ... that hot pink and grey/white background with the chocolate print with the two of them in there is stunnnnnnning!

    Post away
GGal .... it's those oooooohs and aaaaahs that kept me going at times. I seem to remember I hit the wall around the stage you were at, and started to consider a smaller quilt. I'm glad I didn't go that route ... and this weekend my FWS is in it's first competition at one of the local Fairs.

    If it hadn't been for
these Lovely Ladies, I'd never have finished it off ..... Bless each and everyone of YOU!
