I'm kind of like you and like the non-solid-solids! ... the true solids look so cold and, well, um, solid! :) With no disrespect to those who use solids ... and yes, I do use them too!!!

I am confused though ... your comments above were about your peach fabric used in your setting triangles. What was your sashing?? ... was it a tone on tone? or what? And the cornerstones?

Good morning, QuiltE! My brown border fabric was used for the sashing also. I had 2 different pieces of what they call Mono Scroll, one tan and one peach. The tan scroll on a creamy background is cornerstones only and the peach scroll on a sort of rust colored background (which nicely complemented the flowers in the brown) is the setting triangles.

(I'm tempted to spell color "colour" just for you. I used to be a Canadian ... still am, actually, but live so far away from the border & the west coast, where I grew up, that I won't bother with the process of getting a Canadian citizenship certificate. My 3 children also are eligible, but it's not feasible for the same reasons.

Wouldn't it be nice, if our online quilts would show us their colours as they are in IRL! :)

Yeaaaaaaaa for you MissCanada ... you can use the U any time. I guess I am the only-lonely Canuck in this venture!!!
