here are my blocks for this week, I must admit that they have been done for a while... I sewed these while I watched the Steelers LOOSE! Dh rooting for greenbay the entire time! :(

looking good everyone! I really had a hard time sewing such small pieces, but you all make it look EASY!

Oh, my, everyone's blocks look so nice! Anne, love your blocks with the sashing you chose. Your quilt is going to look great. Mine are done, but the pictures are still in the camera, so will post later.

GrannyQ - Yes, I have 70 blocks pieced and quilted. I cut my batting 8-1/2" and quilting as I go along. I will add the backing when the blocks are sewn together and just do the straight stitching. Much easier for me. Some of the Dear Jane quilters are doing this method.

Why thank you! I switched the color placement and dont like it so much, now that I see all of the pictures up here with the original placement.

I'm just loving everyone's blocks. Isn't it amazing how far we've come? Anne my computer is showing your sashing as burgandy--is that right? It looks fantastic.
Deranged: if I'd have been piecing while the Steelers were losing, my blocks would have been ripped to shreds LOL. I like them-very pretty.
