Me, too, Anne!! I'm really anxious to do another project with this group. You all (yinz) have taught me so much. I think I'll do another scrappy. Or not. I guess I have plenty of time to decide that. I can't believe we came this far!!!
I found another pattern that might make a good group quilt: Covering America. It's 50 blocks representing the 50 states. Really neat pattern, I think the blocks are 9". I don't think I want to do 6" blocks again for awhile LOL.

I've been trying to figure out a color scheme. I've thought of primary colors in all shades. I don't have much of that in my stash, so maybe I'll look through my fabric and see if any color calls out to me.

I do have some fabric I absolutely love, but not sure if it would look good for pony blocks. It is some burnt orange, brick red, green, gold and rust. Hmmm.

It will help to get the book first and look at the blocks and then decide.

Yes, We have to see the book first. We can also set up a fabric swap for any block with a specific theme. Anne

Here are my blocks for this week.
Anne by finished do you mean quilted and bound, he he before we start another adventurous journey into the unknown. I would love to do another sew along, but which one (oh my so many quilts and so little time)
I have loved seeing everyones blocks each week, all so beautiful and creative.

The blues in your tree are gorgeous; great fabric. The basket is wonderful.

I've been hunting this pattern for a year and it was just re-released.

http://www.quiltandsewshop.com

I like that it came with templates and rotary cutting directions. Hope the link works; if not Google Covering America Pattern

Jan, just googled the Covering American Pattern...I like it! It's much the same as we're doing now, but with 9" finished blocks and only 50 of them? That could be a great sew along quilt!

What do you think Anne?

I'm fine with almost anything as long as the blocks are bigger and easier than the FWS. The only problem I have is that I'm really not crazy about the fabric choice. Don't get me wrong I love the red white and blue but in a quilt to me it's yucky!! I also checked out the book ...It's only 12.95 A.
