I like the sage idea...the white seems so stark.

ok two bits from old brat here, I like the second C choice you came up with more color and no stripes which are hard to keep going in the same direction with only so much fabric you wont be able to fussy cut it. the bambo fabric seems too light sage to go with the F fabric remember E has to go with either AB or CD and same with F. I know you will figure it out, make your favorite A/B and B/c make sure B goes good with C also as somewhere i guess they might meet up in the train ride here and you can figure out for sure E and F within the next week so you have time on those. Just get started.
JABA how come your not showing us your 'failed combo' next to your good combo then your new combo? I know you have it done and maybe it was just your day not your combos? maybe tomorrow you go oh heck I like the originial set after all. It looked good here when you laid it out. I am second guessing my second set too but no other fabric options and well just going with it figuring if Ilove the pattern next round I make it I can buy what I like knowing the design and since we made it once it will go togther super fast the second round. I want pics!

Jenniky - I love those blues! Now, please remember I am a complete newbie at mystery quilts, so take the rest of this note with a grain of salt. You might want to consider switching A&B as well as C&D. A is supposed to be lighter than B and C darker than D. But other than that small switch, your colours look fabulous to me.
Thanks everyone for the help and input on my fabrics.. Im excited now to see the mystery come together. Speaking of split pea soup...yumm one of my very very favorites. I llike to make homemade sourdough croutons to put in my soup right before serving.
I had my fill of chocolate yesterday...so Im headed for the fruit plate today.. some orange slices and grapes.

How does one join the Mystery Quilt Train adventure? This looks like a lot of fun. I love your fabrics. I have not been on the board for a couple of weeks as I've been out of town a lot. You can PM me if you want to.
Thanks, Drue

Not that I know everything, but it took me many tried to download mine and I finally figured out that it only allows a certain amount of bytes per picture. If you take your picture and edit it, just drag the corner down a very little and save, it makes it just small enough to download. Good luck.

I have traveled along this train, and so enjoy it. At this time I can't do the quilt as I am working on a fighter jet quilt for a christmas present and it is taking my time up when I am not working. But as I have enjoyed every train so far, I had to at least go along for the ride. The dishes are kept done up, cleaning all taken care of so you ladies can ride and eat and ride and eat, shop when we stop, and on and on. Just spending time with you ladies is a trip in itself. Love it, love the colors.
